Our systems are reverse-cycle heat pumps rather than cooling-only units, so most homes in England count as 'permitted development' and need no application — as long as the outdoor unit meets the standard size and siting limits, which we take care of. You're more likely to need permission for a listed building, a conservation area (especially on a road-facing wall) or some flats, and rented homes need the landlord's consent. If yours might be a special case, just ask and we'll advise before you book.

Yes, someone over 18 needs to be present for the full duration of the installation.
